Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

MRPL, Global Education, Hindustan Motor, Zenith Birla and Standard Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of MRPL, Global Education, Hindustan Motor, Zenith Birla and Standard Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 69.6 points to 16485.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, Vaxtex Cotfab, Aptus Value Housing, GMM Pfaudler and Seya Industries, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 39 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, Coal India Ltd, ONGC, Bajaj Finance and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers, while UPL, Cipla, Nestle India, Britannia and Bharti Airtel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 245.35 points up at 55352.69 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Real Estate, Paper, Mining and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and FMCG sectors.
