Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Chemo, SP Refractories Ltd., Empyrean Cashews Ltd., Shanti Overseas(Ind and Kohinoor Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 32.8 points to 16157.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Birla Tyres, Debock Sales & Mktg, Oriental Carbon, Dhampur Sugar and Kritika Wires, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 26 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Nestle India, Kotak Bank and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, Adani Ports SEZ, Tech Mahindra, TCS and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 130.22 points up at 54182.83 at 11:15AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Logistics, Banks, Financial Services and Tobacco sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Sugar and Fertilisers sectors.
