Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd., Sharda Cropchem, Shubhlaxmi Jewel Art, Kohinoor Foods and Impex Ferro Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 62.65 points to 16152.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, Divis Labs, Vaibhav Global, Birla Tyres and Sonu Infratech Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 17 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, M&M, Bajaj Auto, SBI and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Divis Labs, Grasim Inds., HUL, Infosys and Hindalco traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 163.83 points down at 54124.78 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Services, Irrigation & Allied Services and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Airlines sectors.
