Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of BLS Int. Services, MRPL, Gokaldas Export, Kanani Inds and Kohinoor Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 77.6 points to 16336.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Muthoot Capital, Metropolis Health, Dr Lal Pathlabs, Future Retail and Birla Tyres, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 35 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto, Shree Cements and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers, while Power Grid, NTPC, JSW Steel, Apollo Hospital and UPL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 222.72 points up at 54541.19 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Airlines, Electric/Electronics and General sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Cables sectors.
