Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Campus Activewear Ltd., Kritika Wires, Shanthi Gears, Empyrean Cashews Ltd. and Mukand Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:58AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 186.7 points to 16224.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Indostar Cap. Fin., KN Agri Resources Ltd., P E Analytics Ltd., McDowell Hold and Opto Circuits, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 10 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, SBI Life, Bajaj Auto, Power Grid and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, RIL, IndusInd Bank, JSW Steel and Tata Steel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 636.69 points down at 54198.89 at 10:58AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Tobacco, InvIT, Power and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was visible in Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Retail, Media & Entertainment and Sugar sectors.
