Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Starteck Finance, Kritika Wires, Megastar Foods, Mold Tek Tech and Agro Phos India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 260.6 points to 16938.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Retail, Future Enterprises (DVR), Innovative Tyres & T, CARE Ratings and Zee Learn, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 46 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 4 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Tech Mahindra, ONGC, SBI Life and SBI were among top gainers, while Nestle India, Tata Consumer, Titan Company, Apollo Hospital and Cipla traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 883.4 points up at 56552.43 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Mining, Gas & Petroleum, Tobacco, Industrial Equipment and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was visible in Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Learning & Education, Media & Entertainment and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors.
