Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Indo Amines, Beta Drugs, Varroc Engg., Agro Phos India and Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 66.15 points to 17311.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Camlin Fine Sc, Indiabulls Intgrtd, Future Consumer, Zee Learn and Future Market, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 33 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, Dr. Reddys, Tata Consumer, Tata Steel and Sun Pharma were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Adani Ports SEZ, SBI Life, Wipro and Power Grid traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 249.7 points up at 57770.76 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Rubber, Glass, Beverages - Alcoholic and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment, Learning & Education and Cables sectors.
