Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pix Trans, Manaksia Ltd, Manaksia Steels, Sangam(India)and Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 76.85 points to 17115.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Karda Const, Zee Learn, Future Retail, Future Enterprises and Future Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 36 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL, Asian Paints, HUL, Maruti Suzuki and RIL were among top gainers, while Bajaj Auto, HCL Tech, Britannia, Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Finance traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 251.49 points up at 57070.88 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Fertilisers and Building Materials sectors, while selling was visible in Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment, Tyres and Learning & Education sectors.
