Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Pearl Polymers, TCPL Packaging, Magadh Sugar Energy, Jindal Worldwide and Hardwyn India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:54AM.

India 10-year bond yield rose 0.37 per cent to 6 after trading in 5.99-6.01 range.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Pearl Polymers, TCPL Packaging, Magadh Sugar Energy, Jindal Worldwide and Hardwyn India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:54AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 338.65 points to 17137.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, Ritco Logistics and McDowell Hold, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 12 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, SBI Life, Tata Steel, ONGC and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers, while Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HDFC, HDFC Bank and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1278.31 points down at 57060.62 at 10:54AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Rubber, Sugar, Defence, Telecommunications and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Agro Processing, Irrigation & Allied Services, IT Software and Tyres sectors.
