Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Choice Intnl, Deep Industries Ltd., Brand Concepts L, Vaishali Pharma and BAG Films, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:14AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 45.6 points to 17685.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 34 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, SBI Life, UPL, Adani Ports SEZ and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Cipla, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma, NTPC and TCS traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 140.26 points up at 59175.21 at 10:14AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Agro Processing, Telecommunications, Packaging, Fertilisers and Defence sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services, Pharmaceuticals and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
