Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Shaily Engg Pla, Genus Paper Boards, Cosmo Films, Raj Rayon and Vadilal Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 365.95 points to 18036.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Stampede Cap, McDowell Hold, Swaraj Suiting Ltd., GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd. and Ganga Forging, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 39 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, Hero MotoCorp and Kotak Bank were among top gainers, while ONGC, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, IndusInd Bank and M&M traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1381.92 points up at 60658.61 at 10:50AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, NBFC, Banks, Sugar and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services, Agro Processing and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
