Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vidhi Specialty Food, Jagsonpal Pharm, India Glycols, Deep Industries Ltd. and Cantabil Retail, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 67.15 points to 17531.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Swaraj Suiting Ltd., Felix Industries, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Supreme Infra and Perfect Infraenginee, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 39 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Power Grid, BPCL, IndusInd Bank and HDFC Life were among top gainers, while Hero MotoCorp, Titan Company, Infosys, Divis Labs and SBI Life traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 216.12 points up at 58784.63 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Rubber, Petrochemicals, Holding Company and Trading sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services, Agro Processing and Airlines sectors.
