Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aarvi Encon, KEI Industries, Gokaldas Export, SEL Manufact and SecUR Credentials, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 33.5 points to 17531.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Akash Infra-Proj, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Supreme Infra, Panacea Biotec and Mangalam Drugs, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Indian Oil Corp., Bajaj Finance, M&M, Hero MotoCorp and JSW Steel were among top gainers, while Hindalco, Cipla, Power Grid, Eicher Motors and UPL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 101.71 points up at 58785.70 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Holding Company, Gas & Petroleum and Apparels sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Textiles, Auto Ancillaries and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
