Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Madras Fert, Orbit Exports, NIIT, Jindal Drilling and Vaishali Pharma, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Madras Fert, Orbit Exports, NIIT, Jindal Drilling and Vaishali Pharma, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 97.15 points to 17020.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Gateway Distriparks Ltd., Future Retail, Future Enterprises, FutureLifestyleFash and Future Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 13 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Indian Oil Corp., RIL, BPCL and Power Grid were among top gainers, while HUL, Nestle India, Britannia, Asian Paints and Grasim Inds. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 327.33 points down at 56965.16 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Agro Processing, Gas & Petroleum, Cables and Mining sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Auto Ancillaries, Shipping and Electric/Electronics sectors.
