Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sree Rayalaseema, Dangee Dums, Pashupati Cotspin, Kothari Prod and West Coast Paper, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:34AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 5.5 points to 16876.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vaidya Sane Ayurved Laboratories Ltd., PayTM, Akash Infra-Proj, CMI Ltd and Easun Reyrolle, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 34 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Tata Motors and Cipla were among top gainers, while ONGC, Hindalco, Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Coal India Ltd traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 27.6 points up at 56513.62 at 10:34AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Agro Processing, Telecommunications, Paper, Packaging and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Auto Ancillaries, Construction and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
