Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of ICE Make Refr, Vaidya Sane Ayurved Laboratories Ltd., Nahar Poly Film, BSE and Kernex Microsys, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 42.15 points to 16637.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Akash Infra-Proj, Easun Reyrolle, Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Usha Martin and Megastar Foods, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 28 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finserv, Dr. Reddys and Axis Bank were among top gainers, while Tata Motors, Tata Consumer, Maruti Suzuki, Nestle India and UPL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 178.48 points up at 55642.87 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Paper, Trading, Airlines and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Construction, Shipping and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
