Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Future Enterprises (DVR), Guj Mineral Dev., Excel Ind, InfoBeans Tech and Madhya Bharat Agro, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 17.45 points to 16623.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Richa Info Systems Ltd., SoftTech Engineers, Kansai Nerolac, AIA Engineering and Dr. Reddys, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 30 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Coal India Ltd, HCL Tech and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while HDFC Life, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cem., SBI Life and Axis Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 39.65 points up at 55508.55 at 10:29AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Sugar, Telecommunications, Trading, Cables and Mining sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Irrigation & Allied Services, Construction and Airlines sectors.
