Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Everest Ind, Times Guaranty, Keynote Financial, Sree Rayalaseema and Speciality Rest, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 31.0 points to 17273.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SS Infrastructure, Motherson Sumi, CarTrade Tech, Ujjivan Financial and Cadila Healthcare, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, SBI Life, L&T, HDFC and Power Grid were among top gainers, while Cipla, Divis Labs, Shree Cements, ONGC and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 94.52 points down at 57797.49 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Construction, Mining, Power and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Pharmaceuticals, Services and Cement sectors.
