Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Fiberweb India, Megastar Foods, Keynote Financial, Mirza Intnl and Vedant Fashions Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:36AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 46.6 points to 17305.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Atal Realtech, Crown Lifters, Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Innovative Tyres & T and Muthoot Capital, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Divis Labs, Grasim Inds., M&M and ONGC were among top gainers, while Power Grid, SBI, Eicher Motors, L&T and ICICI Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 212.28 points down at 57929.77 at 11:36AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Shipping, Fertilisers, Industrial Equipment and Trading sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Building Materials, Construction and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
