Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Excel Ind, Rajnandini Metal, Consolidated Fin, Vishnu Chem and Focus Lighting, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:14AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 25.5 points to 16868.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Manappuram Finance, Gayatri Project, Repco Home Fin, Rossari Biotech and Mallcom(India), touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 26 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shree Cements, Wipro, Infosys, HUL and Titan Company were among top gainers, while Cipla, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Hindalco and JSW Steel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 138.67 points up at 56544.51 at 10:14AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Airlines, FMCG and IT Software sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Packaging, IT Enabled Services, Miscellaneous and Electric/Electronics sectors.
