Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NDTV, Speciality Rest, Ganges Securities, Vaishali Pharma and Orient Refractories, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 12:20PM.

NEW DELHI: Shares of NDTV, Speciality Rest, Ganges Securities, Vaishali Pharma and Orient Refractories, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 12:20PM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 250.05 points to 17355.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Solara Active Pharma, Neuland Labs, GE Power India, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd. and Orchid Pharma, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 6 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Indian Oil Corp., Divis Labs, Tata Steel, BPCL and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Grasim Inds., Infosys, Nestle India, Britannia and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 840.28 points down at 58085.75 at 12:20PM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Electric/Electronics, Media & Entertainment and InvIT sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Services, Cables, Tyres and IT Enabled Services sectors.
