Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Adani Wilmar Ltd., Ajooni Biotech Ltd., Keynote Financial, Poddar Housing and TV18 Broadcast, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 123.3 points to 17390.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd., Orchid Pharma, Precision Metaliks Ltd., Take Solutions and Mahanagar Gas, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 40 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, IndusInd Bank, Hindalco and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers, while SBI Life, Sun Pharma, BPCL, HDFC Life and Indian Oil Corp. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 394.24 points up at 58202.82 at 11:10AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Mining, Trading and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Industrial Consumables, Miscellaneous, Cables, Pharmaceuticals and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
