Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Garware Poly, Shivalik Bimetal, MMP Industries, Ganga Forging and Chemfab Alkalis, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 74.35 points to 17705.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Precision Metaliks Ltd., Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., DC Infotech and Mallcom(India), touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 17 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, Tata Consumer and ITC were among top gainers, while NTPC, HDFC, L&T, Infosys and Kotak Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 275.71 points down at 59282.62 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Packaging, Telecommunications, Electric/Electronics, Tea / Coffee and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in Construction, IT - Hardware, Trading, Learning & Education and Airlines sectors.
