Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mallcom(India), Nahar Poly Film, Everest Ind, Safari Ind and Jainam Ferro Alloys(I)Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:25AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 154.7 points to 17731.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Precision Metaliks Ltd., Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Shri Ram Switchgears and Hind Nat Glass, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 38 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Bank and Axis Bank were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports SEZ, Sun Pharma, L&T and UltraTech Cem. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 539.51 points up at 59402.08 at 11:25AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Tea / Coffee, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Infrastructure and Services sectors, while selling was visible in Shipping, Construction, Pharmaceuticals, Tyres and Fertilisers sectors.
