Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

HB Stockholding, Hindcon Chemicals, Shiva Mills, NACL Industries and Bhartiya Intnl, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM.

NEW DELHI: Shares of HB Stockholding, Hindcon Chemicals, Shiva Mills, NACL Industries and Bhartiya Intnl, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 35.85 points to 17269.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as HEC Infra Projects, JTL Infra, Foce India Ltd., Niraj Cement and Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Dr. Reddys, ICICI Bank, Cipla and Divis Labs were among top gainers, while JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Coal India Ltd and Power Grid traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 142.47 points up at 58039.95 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Industrial Equipment, IT - Hardware, IT Enabled Services, Infrastructure and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was visible in Tourism & Hospitality, Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Services and Consumer Durables sectors.
