Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of ICICI Bank, Arihant Found, India Nippon, Ugro Capital and KEC Int., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:27AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 42.25 points to 18157.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Airo Lam, Huhtamaki PPL, SREI Infra Fin, Jiya Eco Products Lt and Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, ONGC, Cipla and SBI were among top gainers, while HCL Tech, Wipro, Bajaj Auto, Nestle India and Asian Paints traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 229.16 points up at 61050.78 at 11:27AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Metals - Ferrous, Airlines, Banks, Metals - Non Ferrous and Diversified sectors, while selling was visible in Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Services, Tourism & Hospitality and Glass sectors.
