Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Arihant Found, IRB Infra Dev., Shoppers Stop, Ugro Capital and Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:16AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 157.2 points to 18109.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Crown Lifters, Bhagiradha Chem, SREI Infra Fin, Quadpro ITeS Ltd. and Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 11 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, Indian Oil Corp., BPCL, Power Grid and ONGC were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Wipro, TCS and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 554.63 points down at 60705.33 at 11:16AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Infrastructure, Gas & Petroleum, Metals - Ferrous, Trading and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was visible in Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Services and Consumer Durables sectors.
