Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kirloskar Elec, Best Agrolife, Sobha, Share India Sec and TheBykeHospitality, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 159.1 points to 17805.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Quadpro ITeS Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Titan Company, Maruti Suzuki, M&M and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while ONGC, Divis Labs, Cipla, Coal India Ltd and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 539.67 points up at 59729.40 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Gems and Jewellery, Diversified, Auto, Real Estate and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, Textiles, Petrochemicals, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Power sectors.
