Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sumeet Ind, Indosolar Ltd, Niraj Ispat Ind., Madhya Bharat Agro and HEC Infra Projects, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 227.1 points to 25199.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sadhana Nitro, Regency Ceramic, Osia Hyper Retail, Lasa Supergenerics and Navkar Builders, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 45 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Jio Financial Services, Shriram Finance, UltraTech Cem. and Adani Ent. were among top gainers, while NTPC, ONGC, BEL, IndusInd Bank and Tata Consumer traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 735.13 points up at 82631.92 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Auto and Retail sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, Industrial Consumables, Defence, Financial Services and Aquaculture sectors.
