Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Indef Manufacturing, Peria Karamalai Tea, Manaksia Coated, Reliance Home Fin and Federal Mogul, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:25AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 30.3 points to 24781.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Navkar Builders, Lakshmi Precis, Prostarm Info System, Nagarjuna Fertilizer and AGS Transact Tech, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 31 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ent. and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers, while Tata Steel, SBI Life, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma and Apollo Hospital traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 31.7 points up at 81473.74 at 10:25AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Financial Services, Construction, Chemicals, Media & Entertainment and Textiles sectors.
