Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Bharti Hexacom, Mahamaya Steel, Kavita Fabrics, ABB Power and Medplus Health Serv, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 32.25 points to 24793.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Orchid Pharma, Tantia Const, NIIT Learning System, Borana Weaves and Shree Ram Proteins, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 20 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, HDFC Life, Jio Financial Services, Bajaj Finance and SBI were among top gainers, while ITC, Nestle India, Apollo Hospital, Tata Consumer and Bajaj Auto traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 110.69 points down at 81440.94 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Tobacco, Tea / Coffee, Irrigation & Allied Services, Construction and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
