Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Khaitan(India), Magellanic Cloud, Centum Elec, SecMark Consultancy and Stampede Cap(DVR), hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 287.35 points to 24897.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Golden Tobacco, Pritish Nandy, R K Swamy, Marshall Machines and Bafna Pharma, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 49 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 1 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eternal, ITC, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and HCL Tech were among top gainers, while Sun Pharma, Hindalco, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and IndusInd Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 893.9 points up at 81845.89 at 11:00AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Financial Services, Textiles, Chemicals, Industrial Equipment and Aquaculture sectors.
