Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of VRL Logistics, Stampede Cap(DVR), Silgo Retail, SecMark Consultancy and ABB Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 211.91 points to 24601.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Aditya Birla Retail, R K Swamy, Lakshmi Precis, Cyber Media Ltd and Shah Alloys, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 6 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Jio Financial Services, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Tech Mahindra, Nestle India, HCL Tech and M&M traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 685.82 points down at 80910.81 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Auto and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in IT - Hardware, Construction, Tobacco, FMCG and Diversified sectors.
