Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Naval & Engg, Coromandel Int., Privi Speciality Chemicals, UPL (PP)and Bannari Amman, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:40AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 183.85 points to 24518.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as AGS Transact Tech, Gensol Engg, GI Engineering, Praj Ind. and We Win, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 38 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, Eternal Ltd. and IndusInd Bank Ltd. were among top gainers, while Eicher Motors Ltd., Nestle India Ltd., Bajaj Auto Ltd., JSW Steel and Titan Company Ltd. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 723.46 points up at 80965.7 at 10:40AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Airlines, Petrochemicals, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Learning & Education and Building Materials sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Tobacco, Fertilisers, ReIT and InvIT sectors.
