Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kilitch Drug, Chambal Fertilisers, Mangalore Chem, Max Financial and Silver Touch Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 19.05 points to 24355.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Keerti Knowledge, GI Engineering, AGS Transact Tech, Gujarat Lease and Gensol Engg, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd., Power Grid, Cipla Ltd., Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. were among top gainers, while Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Bajaj Finance Ltd., Trent Ltd., Tata Motors Ltd. and IndusInd Bank Ltd. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 67.67 points up at 80356.05 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Airlines, Petrochemicals, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Learning & Education and Building Materials sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Tobacco, Fertilisers, ReIT and InvIT sectors.
