Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of TCPL Packaging, Shaily Engg Plastics and Mahamaya Steel, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:39AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 21.85 points to 23690.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Kesoram Inds., Nxtdigital, Shrem InvIT, Cybermate Info and Compuage Infocom, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 26 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid, M&M, Adani Ent. and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers, while Dr. Reddys, Tech Mahindra, Cipla, NTPC and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 0.22 points down at 78016.97 at 10:39AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in Leather, Textiles, Agro Processing, Aquaculture and Tea / Coffee sectors.
