Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Elgi Rubber Co, Asian Hotels, Tembo Global Ind, Shradha Infraproject and Shakti Pumps, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:21AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 168.1 points to 23918.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as N K Industries, Balaxi Pharma, Digjam, Aki India and Mask Investments, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, IndusInd Bank and M&M were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Adani Ports SEZ, TCS, L&T and ITC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 508.86 points at 78981.34 at 10:21AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Apparels, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Defence, Cables, Mining and Learning & Education sectors.
