Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aaron Industries, Ucal Fuel Sys, Asian Hotels, Mohit Inds and BSL Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:54AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 197.41 points to 23784.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as MT Educare, Coffee Day Ent, Digjam, Odigma Consultancy and PTC India, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 46 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 4 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Trent, Shriram Finance, ITC and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers, while TCS, HDFC Life, Power Grid, M&M and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 649.42 points at 78691.01 at 10:54AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in sectors, while selling was visible in sectors.
