Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Soma Textiles, Pudumjee Paper Prod, Sagility India, Manaksia Coated and NBI Industrial, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:26AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 66.45 points to 23980.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as MITCON Const & Engg.(PP), CreditAccess Grameen, Raghav Productivity, Lakshmi Precis and Debock Sales & Mktg, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 36 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Sun Pharma, M&M, Tata Consumer and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers, while Shriram Finance, Power Grid, Coal India Ltd, SBI Life and HDFC Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 218.03 points at 79261.77 at 10:26AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Apparels, Power, NBFC and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Irrigation & Allied Services, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Holding Company and Industrial Consumables sectors.
