Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Next Mediaworks, The Anup Engg, Vimta Labs, Oil Country Tub and Power & Instrument, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:14AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 355.46 points to 24262.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as JP Associates, Infomedia Press, Premier Ltd, Bright Solar and CMI Ltd, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 47 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 3 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, BEL, ONGC, Shriram Finance and L&T were among top gainers, while JSW Steel, Infosys, HCL Tech, Power Grid and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1094.3 points at 80211.41 at 10:14AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Apparels, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Industrial Consumables, Aquaculture, Rubber and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
