Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jindal Poly Investm, Pearl Global, Power & Instrument, Tera Software and Sky Gold, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 193.55 points to 23324.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Adani Transmission, NDTV, Sanghi Ind, Setubandhan Infra and Marshall Machines, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 11 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Infosys, Power Grid, TCS, HCL Tech and Hindalco were among top gainers, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, SBI, NTPC and IndusInd Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 546.35 points at 77032.03 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Apparels, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Shipping, Industrial Consumables, Power and Term Lending Institutions sectors.
