Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Nalwa Sons Invst, Garware Tech, Orient Technologies, Themis Medicare and Garware Poly, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:48AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 174.96 points to 23357.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Honasa Consumer, IGL, Ahlada Engineers, Sanghvi Movers and Hinduja Global, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 14 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 36 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco, HDFC Bank, Coal India Ltd and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while TCS, Wipro, Dr. Reddys, Infosys and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 589.68 points at 76990.63 at 10:48AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Apparels, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic and Aquaculture sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Industrial Consumables, Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment and IT Enabled Services sectors.
