Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pix Trans, Vardhman Hold, Summit Sec, Tera Software and JSW Holdings, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:23AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 5.0 points to 24143.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Brand Concepts, Aarti Inds, Asian Paints, Affordable Robotic and Sahyadri Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Britannia, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and TCS were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Steel, ONGC and M&M traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 38.64 points at 79447.68 at 10:23AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, NBFC, Rubber, Beverages - Alcoholic and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Building Materials, Industrial Consumables, Construction and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
