Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Elgi Rubber Co, Shree Rama Multi, OrientalAromatics, Rainbow Childrens and IRIS Business Services, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:08AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 315.0 points to 23989.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Deepak Builders & En, Infomedia Press, CMI Ltd, Birlasoft and Raymond, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 6 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Dr. Reddys, Cipla, Tech Mahindra and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, BPCL, Sun Pharma and RIL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 977.45 points at 78746.67 at 10:08AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications and Rubber sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Industrial Consumables, Construction, Industrial Equipment and Agro Processing sectors.
