Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Waaree Energies, Prudent Corporate Advisory Svcs, The Anup Engg, Wockhardt and Kitex Garments, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:23AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 84.65 points to 24256.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Revathi Equipment, Popular Vehicles, Eurotex Ind, Tree House Edu and Axita Cotton, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, L&T, ONGC, Power Grid and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, TCS, Infosys and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 311.08 points at 79631.1 at 10:23AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, NBFC, IT - Hardware, Tea / Coffee and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors, while selling was visible in Diversified, Industrial Consumables, IT Software, Metals - Ferrous and Pharmaceuticals sectors.
