Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sequent Scientific, Zee Media Corp, Praj Ind., Balrampur Chini and Gala Precision Engin, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:25AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 4.86 points to 26220.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sanghvi Movers, Stampede Cap(DVR), Stampede Cap, Rossell India and Filatex Fashions, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 31 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Titan Company, Hindalco, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Bharti Airtel, L&T, HDFC Bank and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 79.18 points down at 85756.94 at 11:25AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Sugar, Metals - Non Ferrous, Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Electric/Electronics and Industrial Equipment sectors.
