Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Insecticide Ind, Ucal Fuel Sys, Nahar Capital, Heranba Ind and Summit Sec, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 7.85 points to 25009.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Globale Tessile, Alps Industries, TCI Finance and Gyscoal Alloys, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 20 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, LTIMindtree, BPCL, IndusInd Bank, M&M and Wipro were among top gainers, while Hero MotoCorp, ONGC, Tata Steel, JSW Steel and HCL Tech traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 14.66 points up at 81726.42 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Holding Company, Telecommunications, General and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was visible in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Electric/Electronics and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
