Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Uma Exports, Oriental Trimex, Kothari Petro, Nagreeka Export and Syncom Form, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:14AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 161.35 points to 24984.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, Future Supply Chain, Saraswati Saree Depo, Shrenik and Diligent Media Corp, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 37 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Wipro, Bajaj Finserv, TCS and LTIMindtree were among top gainers, while Apollo Hospital, Grasim Inds., UltraTech Cem., Adani Ports SEZ and HDFC Life traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 547.58 points up at 81633.79 at 10:14AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, General, Metals - Non Ferrous and IT Software sectors, while selling was visible in Irrigation & Allied Services, Rubber, Infrastructure, Electric/Electronics and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
