Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Zomato, Selan Expl Tech, Gyscoal Alloys, SJS Enterprises and Nazara Technologies, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:20AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 204.91 points to 24806.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SecUR Credentials, Arvee Laboratories, Tips Films, Ravindra Energy and Jet Airways, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Apollo Hospital, Asian Paints, Adani Ports SEZ and Divis Labs were among top gainers, while Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, JSW Steel and Hindalco traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 658.24 points down at 81209.31 at 11:20AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Learning & Education, IT Enabled Services, Tea / Coffee, Services and Power sectors, while selling was visible in Irrigation & Allied Services, Electric/Electronics, Infrastructure, Defence and Glass sectors.
