Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Robust Hotels, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia, Khaitan(India), TPL Plastech and Alankit, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 69.91 points to 24904.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Spandana Sphoorty, Radaan Media, Brightcom Group, Bohra Industries and Mask Investments, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, L&T, SBI, ICICI Bank, BPCL and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Cipla, Tata Consumer, Titan Company, Bharti Airtel and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 254.83 points up at 81587.55 at 10:29AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Sugar, Media & Entertainment and Defence sectors, while selling was visible in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Electric/Electronics, Gas & Petroleum and Airlines sectors.
